Inequities ii
by Jordan Brooks
Nov. 11, 2016.
There's a headache,
(you feel good,)
I notice how you can't empathize,
at all. And so, you're not one-of-a-kind,
Get so angry now,
I've said it.
I imagined a boy, he doesn't know of better,
all the girls always got mad,
he's never seen a better response
in a better relationship,
never had the response he could just love,
a normal response from a girl untainted,
and a girl, she sees he's imprisoned by this,
and she gets mad, rather than loves him,
rather than showing him the good light,
that he could know of:
She locks the door:
He'll think that is what a girl is.
I know you think he'll grow to love her,
that it's not the prettiest relationship there is,
a missing critical element of her personality,
another element trimmed from the picture,
one he'll never know of or miss,
another deceit, (he missed,)
Your imposing inequity.
Jordan.
