Jpinions I            Darwinism vs. Creationism                     04.02.08

May I present to you an abstract argument for thought? Concerning life in general there are forces amongst us quite great, but their actual presence so dim that we as humans may have failed to recognize them in our understanding of life. When I reflect on Darwinism and Creationism I can’t help but think that these archaic beliefs are incorrect. I think that there are so many factors being overlooked by both chest-pounding sides, that they cannot form objective conclusions. I believe they reached a stalemate long ago, and stagnantly they grow together. I’ll relate this to the universe first.

Our universe is fantastic in the grand scheme of things. However, if we exclude Earth from our definition of the universe, and then look at it from an outsider’s perspective, perhaps we could discover a new meaning beneath the universe, and a new theory for life. Much of the phenomena of our universe takes place outside of Earth; most of which no eye has ever witnessed. This forever-expanding collection of vastness and unlimited mystique is so great, it is almost incomprehensible. For this theory we must say that humans will never obtain all of the knowledge of the universe. Although they will try, we must concede that it is impossible, and the knowledge is incomprehensible.

So pretend that we’ve stepped off of the earth and out of space; we are in a purely white room where we stand in observation of the universe. The universe floats across from us and still expands exactly as it does in actuality. Let’s say we watch this forever in order to make our conclusion on it. Say we are not God, so ultimately we only get to perceive the vast incomprehensibility of the universe and accept it as such. So now, to us, space is merely a ’thing’ that we see and accept as being there, working correctly; although we can’t understand how it works. Let us recognize the antithesis of that ’thing;’ the opposite of all of space is arguable, but I’ll suggest it’s similar to the atoms that make up everything.

Comparitivly, formed of another amazing universe of microscopic matter and matter interchange, a human being’s ability to form complex thought is also quite amazing. The idea of an idea and where it comes from, or how the brain forms an idea from ’nothing’ is an endeavor into imperceptibility. The imperceptible things taking place in space relate directly to the imperceptible things here on earth. This is why the gravity of Jupiter and every other planet compliments each other to form a perfect oasis of gravitational pull and protection in the desert of the universe for life on Earth to thrive as it does. So let us allow ourselves to be under the impression that God knew the ultimate goal for human life would be a quest for knowledge, so he made the universe ever-expanding and seemingly incomprehensible. This was God’s perfect creation.

Now, let us assume that God is real and evolution is real, however the bible is not. Let’s say the bible was created for population control by some incredibly smart or powerful people and the entire world was required to adopt it in one form or another. So let us believe that the act of attempting to understand God begot the world we live in today. Those ancient decisions paved the road for mankind’s entire belief-system.

Who in that time is able to consider the ramifications of creating a mentality for the
World, of the world. My theory is our entire world is structured on the imagination of ourselves (the bible) and the choices of those men (the writers of it) and what they coerced the young, naive world into believing. Similar to the way modern writers wrote fantastic stories of futuristic times and devices in the early 1900’s only to be succeeded by the inventors who said, "We will invent those things and create a life similar to that." and then it was so; the vision of the writer became the reality for the rest of the world. Likewise, the vision of the bible-writers became the belief-system used to alter, control and domesticate mankind for ages. It was undeniable because of the church’s power.

So when men come into life and decide to think outside of the belief-system they are born into and ultimately they conclude something fascinating about life, they were quickly suppressed by the church. The people are often killed and terror examples were made and the populous learned not to think for themselves. With time it becomes apparent that Darwin isn’t insane, but the church can never concede that because it would unravel the Great Lie of Religion. Long ago the savage populous did need to be tamed.

The problem is that the taming never stopped, the population never became aware of it and now they live their drone-like lives functioning daily under a false-belief system; it’s sad. It’s similar to an enslaved, kidnapped person’s plight. They lived their life, they were taken from it abruptly and forced to be the slave of some fiend. The police save the victim after years of slavery and the victim doesn’t know how to behave in life. The populus of Earth, I believe, is still enslaved by a simply false belief system.

The great debate between two almost-correct sides takes place and my ultimate conclusion, succintly is Darwinist quarreling with Creationists would then be similar to two brother’s arguing about dad’s rule, when both of them are wrong.
